PresbyYouth Wednesday Night

A night to CONNECT, SERVE, and GROW, as students have a meal, play games, hang out, share a message, and finish with High School and Middle School LifeGroups.
Each week this year, we'll pair Scripture and a Bible story with something a little unexpected: a children's book.
We hope that for an hour on Wednesday nights, we can pause some of the chaos of our children's lives. We can put down the expectations of being a middle or high school student and remember some of the simple joys of being a kid. We want to see our kids being curious, asking questions, laughing, playing, imagining, wondering, and trusting.
Week 2: Trust Like a Child
We will discuss how and why children naturally trust. God asks us to trust Him even when life doesn't make sense.
Verse: Proverbs 3:5–6
Bible Story: Peter Walks on Water — Matthew 14:22–33
Book: The Little Engine That Could
We'll talk about what it means to take the next step when you can't see exactly where you're going. Faith doesn't always mean knowing how everything will turn out. Sometimes it simply means trusting God enough to take the next step.
