Paul Summers LaRoche

Paul Summers LaRoche is an award-winning musician, composer, producer, speaker, and cultural educator who has spent more than three decades using music to build bridges between people and cultures. At First Presbyterian Church, he leads contemporary music and works alongside pastors, staff, and volunteers to create meaningful worship experiences.

Paul is best known as the founder and leader of Brulé, one of the most successful Native American contemporary music groups in North America. A recipient of the Midwest Culture Bearers Award, Paul has dedicated much of his career to promoting understanding, reconciliation, and cultural appreciation through music, storytelling, and education. 

In addition to his work in music and ministry, Paul is passionate about mentoring musicians, producing original recordings, and helping people connect more deeply with faith, community, and one another. Paul and his wife Kathy recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and reside in Worthington, Minnesota.
