Kathie Douma is the Program Specialist for Children and Youth Ministries at First Presbyterian Church. She believes in creating a faith community where everyone feels seen, loved, and empowered.

In her 25-year tenure as the Director of Children’s Ministries, Kathie developed a broad range of programs and activities, establishing exciting traditions while evolving to meet the needs and interests of FPC’s youngest community members. She oversaw the construction of a life-size whale and has significantly expanded the Church’s rubber chicken inventory.

Kathie and her husband Jason have two adult children. In her free time, Kathie enjoys creating pottery.
