Children in Worship
At First Presbyterian Church, we encourage children to be activie participants in worship because kids have faith too! Children may use children's activitiy bulletins and worship bags that are packed with quiet books, toys and activities. We encourage all children to gather in the chancel and participate in the children's sermon each worship service. Additionally, our children's offering allows kids to get out of the pew and place their offerings in a world globe located in the chancel. Each month the children's offering supports a different local or international mission.
BIRTH THROUGH KINDERGARTEN
Nursery (Newborn through 5 years old)
Sunday mornings 8:30-12:15
Wednesday night 5:30-7:30
Our nursery is a place where every child is shown the love of God. Each room has a paid provider to ensure consistency of care and the familiar face helps ease seperation anxiety.
Kingdom Kids (One and two year old children)

This program is designed as a first learning experience for one and two year old students. Children explore God's world and practice social and learning skills through stories, gym time, singing and projects. Kingdom Kids is a parent co-op where parents take turns assisting the teacher. There is a fee involved with this group and advanced registration is required. To learn more, contact Cathy Newcomb 336-2886.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGE (1st-5th Grades)
Creator’s Kids (9:40-10:40)
Our awesome rotation model Sunday School program.Children learn about a Bible story or concept over a five-week period, or rotation. Each week, students visit a different workshop where they learn about the story through creative media like art, cooking, movement, games, storytelling, science, video, or even computers.Five Sunday School classrooms have been created to enhance these different kinds of activities. This model is not only fun, it leads to better retention and application of faith into everyday life!
KidMo! on Wednesday Nights (6:00-7:30)
This fast-paced, zany program was an instant hit with our kids. They love K’Motion worship, the hyper-teaching, great games, and Memory Max (Bible memorization). But the most powerful part for kids and leaders is connecting in small group time!Personal connections are made that will connect children and adults for a lifetime.
